S.U. fuel pumps sorted

A while ago I reported purchasing a new faulty AUA 66 non-electronic fuel pump.
As a lot of threads seem to get lost in the ether as unfinished projects, I thought I would update anyone who may have had issues or purchased a pump as a standby and may find it wanting.
The symptoms were failure after around 9-10 miles, letting it cool cured it temporarily.I returned the pump which has been worked on and I have refitted it, and it works fine.
All I could find out was they have replaced a faulty part and future pumps wont suffer said fault.
So, if you have a new one lying around you may like to fit it and check.
Problem now is it makes the rest of the engine bay look tired.[frame]
