Firstly, I know this has been covered lots before, but when I've searched through old threads, I read conflicting stuff and just wanted to ask again to get the current thinking.
I've got a 1964 Traveller. I'm ordering seatbelts for the rear, and have gathered that the best belt is the Securon 264, which are long enough to run from the arch in the boot.
While I'm at it, I think I'll replace the old buckle seatbelts in the front. My wife would feel more at ease when I take the kids out... But there seem to be different suggestions here.
I was thinking Securon 254s for the front, because I saw someone had used them and seemed happy. But I'm also wondering about the other type with 'stalks'. I think I'd prefer the webbing of the 254s, but does anyone have opinions (that has either type of Securon belts successfully fitted in the front of their Minor).
Also, is there space for the square mounting plates under the transmission tunnel for the front belts? Or do they go under the flat floor? I'm presuming I can reuse the threads in the door pillar and sills that hold my current belts in place, and would just need a captive nut for the floor mounting in the centre?
Any quick replies would be appreciated! (I have some Securon 264s that need paying for on eBay, and might add the front belts, and mounting plates, to the order!)
And any photos of an installation would be even better!
Thanks!

Re: Traveller Seatbelts?
Replace the front belts with inertia belts using the existing mountings. Usethe stiff wire type buckle section
For the rear belts, the size recomended on the box is too short, See my old threads on the subject
