I know Ebay prices are high at times, but maybe the club should start selling their regalia on there if this is the kind of prices they can get!

Compare that to the clubs price :

May be worth a suggestion to the committee

Why would anyone bid on a used badge and eventually £38.00 when they could have bought a new one for less than £15 with postage. something tells me that person who bought it from e Bay has money to burn.

The word 'rare' in a listing always seems to bump the price up!

The original MMOC grill badge was square. One of those might be rare.

Who knows but they do. I've sold some bits and bobs recently that I bought and didn't need and about half sold for more than I paid for them - Perhaps people are too lazy to compare prices from different suppliers (not Minor parts in this case).

I think most of the people who bid on these things are not Club members and don't know that they can be bought much cheaper from the Club.

You don't have to be a member to buy Regalia from the MMOC site.

Agreed, but that is what the Club has to charge to cover postage, packaging and VAT charges. Cannot compete with people like Amazon/Ebay as the Club buys in 50's and 100's not 1,000's of copies. It is just provided as a service to members.
