Spire clips

Post by granneb »

Can anyone point me in the right direction to obtain spire clips to fix the moulding strip which runs each side of the bonnet.

I can't find the part in any of the various online parts lists

Thanks

Hi,

http://www.morrisminorspareparts.co.uk/ ... /bppix.htm The part is listed below item no 4 or

http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/Shop/ViewP ... exID=17119

It is the same clip that holds on the side bonnet logo.

Thanks, looked on their site, but wasn't sure if they were the same, pins on my logo are quite small compared with the bonnet moulding pins, but if they fit, great, thanks again

G,day all
The link in Roys post incorrectly describes the article as spire clips. They actually are speed nuts.

They are actually called spire nuts and on a Minor there are three sizes, namely ,boot badge, bonnet side flash (the largest) and bonnet side badge. I used to sell these before I retired. I used to buy them from BRESCO vehicle services but they may not retail them. Hope this is some help John
