Hi
if i were to fit a K&N type filter to my carb would i have to up jet it or adjust the fuel ratio? as it would be running lean

im not realy botherd about the peformance i just want to put a nicer looking air filter on my carb,

I dont THINK so,but you might find it worth checking after a few days running. i do know that your k&n filter will add a bit of noise though!

The filter is not the limiting factor on the airflow to your engine - so changing it will not make any great difference. But do run a plug colour check after the change and react to that.

NO! It's s useless thing! Plug colour means just that - the colour of the spark plugs after a good run - with no traffic running/idling. ie-switch off at speed and drift to a halt - and whip out a plug or two.
