Morris Minor Owners Club

I'm wondering if anyone can give me some help recreating this car. I'm about to buy my first Morris and I'd like to reproduce the car we had when I was a child.

My father purchased it in England in 1958 and then brought it back to America. Here is a picture of it new and also one of me in front of it in 1971. Would you say it is Claredon Grey or Birch Grey which were both colors that year? I remember it had red leather seats.Is there any way of figuring out the year?

Its kind of hard to tell from the pics, birch grey is much lighter than clarendon grey[frame][/frame]This traveller above is birch grey[frame][/frame]and this one below is clarendon grey.

Thanks David. The second definitely looks closer. Is there any way to tell if it's a 1957, 1958, or 1959?
