I'm after doing a 'trade' with someone in the vintage car world who wants me to find him a gearstick for a 4-speed MM gearbox. I know I can probably get the spring and I've got a top cover here but the stick was used years ago on another project. Has anyone got a useable stick?

Turret springs are available from club spares, I might have a spare gear lever, no gearknob though

I think there were a couple of those in the job-lot of parts I just sold to an MM owner in Owen Sound Ontario. His name is James Ellis <squeezeboxman76 (at) hotmail (dot) com>.
If you have no other luck I'm sure he would be glad to help.

Re: Spare MM gearstick, anyone?
Thanks, Guys.
I'll take the quickest/cheapest option, whichever that might be. I've got the gearbox lid, the cap that holds the lever in place so I'll just need to find the long lever and buy him a new spring.
Trading it for a gearbox tail casting for a pre-war Minor van so that I can hang the handbrake onto the gearbox rather than bolting something to the chassis. My first attempt was a bit cr4p.[frame][/frame]
...so I need one of these...[frame][/frame]
...with the bit on corner to hang the handbrake mechanism.
