Hi all, I have a vague recollection of some sort of grease being used when fitting 'superflex' bushes to the suspension----anyone know more details please?

It will be the same as a tub of Castrol LM - just use your grease gun you have for the trunnions (assuming you have LM in it, of course!)

It's not the same as LM - it's specifically formulated to resist 'water washout' .

I used red grease on mine. They still squeak a bit though. Thinking of going back to good old rubber

If you can get good old rubber anymore

If steering rack gaiters are anything to go by---stick to poly bushes. (--and white grease!)

I dont think any grease would stop them squeaking. I absolutely covered them with grease and still slight squeaks

I always found red grease rather odd stuff, not very greasy and just seemed to attract dirt and dust when used in brake cylinders.

Ive been trying Maganlube
