brass drain tap

does anyone know the correct thread size for the block drain tap?
having trouble screwing mine in and want to run a tap up the hole to clean the threads.

Can you not measure the threads on yours? Otherwise take it w/you when you go to buy the tap and tell them that you need a tap that size.

First you need to be sure the drain tap has the correct thread for the block, I would think it's a pipe thread but can't be sure, if you take anything with you when buying a tap---take the plug that came out!
