Hi,

Ive come to brush clear waxoyl on the inside on my door panels, and just wanted to know the best type of brush for the job?
Theres all kinds of brushes, and ill need one suitable for the waxoyl?

Please dont suggest spraying it, its too messy, it gets everywhere, and when all the panels are removed, I can get to all the areas I need to protect with a brush.

Just which one to get?

Thanks

Try a masonry type brush and put the tin of waxoyl in hot water first it spreads better :)

The whole point of spraying it is precisely that it 'gets everywhere'..... Pre warm the wax, thin it with 10% white spirit - and spray it with a simple hand bottle pinched from under the kitchen sink....... And -pre-treat with Rust Killer of course!

Im not going to mention rust killers again, I think that was answered numerous times before :D

Thanks for you answer bmcecosse, but behind the door panels, and rear panels, I beleive I can reach everywhere with a brush. So would prefer this option.

It would also be hard to warm the tin, as my waxoyl is in a 20l bucket (pail), I found on the net.

That said, if I cant reach certain places, I will use your method of the spray bottle.

Thank you for answering my question, much appreciated,
