You'd have a better audience if the windows were real

I once had to carry a wet bivvy tent across Dartmoor on a military excercise. Chelsea Supporter that I would never use one again and bought a lightweight nylon tent for future excercises

Nah - ours was the best! -well after Jon had gone home and got the right poles for it!

6 berth tents need 6 berth poles - 5 berth poles won't fit!!!

Well it was 1st time camping. We took along a 2bth tent borrowed from my daughter. a blow up mattress and sleeping bags.
I also took along our branch gazebbo that we used to put over the tent as we had no idea of how waterproof the tent was. The tent took seconds to open as it was a pop up one. We managed to blow up the mattress but it wouldn't quiet fit inside. So with me inside and feet over the one end and head over the other side it was a struggle as we couldn't close the door flap so my head was half out. But as we had a very busy weekend sleep came fast to me so I didn't mind. It hasn't yet put me off the idea of camping but with a bigger tent it should be better.
