Traveller rear door hinges

I understand that the hinges for the rear doors on a traveller are different, ie top hinge is not the same as bottom one, how can the differnce be seen when they are off the vehicle?

Or is this just an urban myth?

The pictures in the previous post don't throw much further light on the subject, in fact to me they look identical.

I have two sets of hinges, one set is on the vehicle, and they all look the same, the post mentions the top hinge is longer, what does that mean? Longer by what, all my hinges seem the same length.
I'm confused, are the hinges different or not and if so what is the difference, can it be measured?

Does anyone know or like I said is it an urban myth??

Eureka........got it at last, as a previous post mentioned, which I didn't read correctly, the bottom hinge is square to its base, whilst the top hinge is angled

Thank you so much for those photos

I' ve looked at the other posts and also struggled to see the differences.
Checked my car and had the hinges upside down on one side, thankfully I hadn't yet drilled all the holes.

Yesterday I thought that a nice little morning's project would be to remove the hinges, give them a good wire brushing, respray and replace. 6 miserable hours and 4 sheared coach bolts later I finished. I now realise that when the hinges were fitted, the surplus thread was just snipped off which mucked up some of the threads. You live and learn.
