sliding window channel?

Hello All

Can you tell me please if it is possible to obtain the "felt" substance that sits inside the channel that the rear windows of a Traveller run along? The metal channels are still in good condtion and I would prefer not to have them removed unless necessary. The felt inside them has just disappeared completely:-(

Hello Ruth-Last time I had to replace the channeling I had to replace the entire strip metal and felt as it comes fastened together, Dont worry its not that big a job and you can treat the wood to a good clean and treat it with clear *cuprinal* well worth doing before next winter

,It should take you about a weekend to do -Oh and fasten the strip in with brass screws and make sure that all the holes in the wooden channel are all open-a small screwdriver will do the job nicely. Before you actualy fit the new channel in seal the woodwork with Dum-Dum but make sure the holes are kept clear and open then sit the new channel on and press down.
