Clutch And Brake Pedal

Hi, I have recently brought a 1970 moggy and when I press the clutch pedal the brake pedal goes down too? Any one know how I can solve the problem??

probably seized on the shaft

will need to take the cover off the master cylinder and gearbox tunnel
to see what has seized
probably need to cut off the old spacers and renew and possibly bushes in the chassis leg

^^^^ Wee bit extreme.....try some release fluid and some push-pull action first. If that all fails - refer to post above ^^^^^.

When I renewed this assembly I added a grease nipple to the brake bush housing, maybe a bit ott but hey, it made me happy.
