rear dampers

hi all , just changed the oil in my front dampers and now want to do the rear ones . Anything to look out for or is as straight forward as the front ones :-?

It's just the same operation - but you need to get the damper vertical - one already is - the other is at an angle - so probably best to remove it and work at it on the bench.

How did you get on with the fronts? in a previous post you said had trouble getting the oil out?

As Roy says, best to remove them and keep them upright. When you put them back assuming they dont leak :( assemble them with some copper slip and check the rubber bushes and the tapered stub mounting to the damper arm for signs of wear.

Hi tricky. I sucked all I could with my draper electric pump and topped up with sae40 . Gave it a good run over the speed bumps and topped up again gave it another run tonight and it took quite a few squirts again . Damping is now excellent
