Wheel BearingHELP!!!

Post by tomas.geoghegan »

Hi Can i have some advice please .
Im getting a woreing from front wheel and gets lauder when going around a corner.
Iv jacked the wheel up and theres no play there. When i spin the wheel around There a slight noise from the shoes Rubbing
The drums which i know is normal because iv just put new drums and shoes on. and adjusted them up.
Could the wheel bearing be makeing the noise under load. And if it is the bearing does it need to be pressed in to the hub?
If not I no I know i could do it myself.
Thanks Tomas

'woreing' ?? Not a sound I am familiar with..... I suggest you swap the hubs left to right and see if the noise follows...... And no - the bearings are not 'pressed' in.
