Looking to respray a 2 door and just wondered which 'White' Body colour was the brightest.

Understand from the paint charts there is 'Old English White', 'Snowberry White' and, a 'Glacier White'.

Which White colour is the brightest. ?

Hi,
I would imagine that Glacier white would be the whitest and brightest of those, Old English white is a creamy colour, not sure of Snowberry white.
Others may know more.....
Best wishes,
Mike.

I'd go for Snowberry white. I thought Glacier white was a Triumph colour (had a Spitfire that colour years ago) and I'm certain it wasn't as "white" if you know what I mean

Hi,
I had a look on Charles Ware's site and it does list Glacier white as being an original colour option.
I must admit I thought it was a Ford colour......
Regards,
Mike.

Glacier white was used on the late travellers built at Adderley park. I'd say that glacier is the 'brightest' white - it's quite a 'cold' looking colour. OEW is the 'creamiest', with Snowberry inbetween.

Mine is Old English White, It is a bit more creamy in person, but it gives you and idea.

A google search found this snowberry white car[frame]Image[/frame] It is hard to tell, but there is a slight difference, and In Person they are very different.
Could not find a picture of a Minor in glacier white.

Glacier white is more of an early 70s colour, hence late Adderley Park built travellers. My Wolseley Six (1973) is Glacier, and Marinas etc also appeared in that colour. Yes its a pretty crisp white, almost certainly whiter than the the other two.
Not the best of pics, but it tends to appear inthe background of pictures of other cars...
