Morris Minor Owners Club

Our Saloon was treated to an oil and filter change yesterday,and I cleaned and regapped the plugs to 0.65mm,she starts fine on the choke,I'd weakened the mixture slightly last week as she was starting without choke at all and I figured the mixture was too rich.Today I took her for a run,and after a couple of miles something felt not quite right,then she cuts out when slowing down,or coming to a halt. After pulling the choke out a couple of clicks she runs fine but wont stay running without. I've loosened the idle speed screw as much as possible,it actually came out,and that hasn't helped.She is happy running with a bit of choke,so what have I done and where do I go next?

Thanks BMC, I am easily distracted so the quick input from the Members on here stops me,and others,from making basic mistakes (or at least offering advice when we make basic mistakes) I took Trundle on a 150 mile round trip yesterday,Motorways, A roads and B roads,never missed a beat, although I feel the speedo is a bit optimistic (75mph ??) me and my sons have made this car fit to do this journey in confidence! I do like Moggies.
