Front bumper straightening

To compliment the other thread on here...

My front bumper is bent so that one side is lower than the other by about an inch. I think that pulling out the higher side should sort this.

I've seen this on several other minors, is there a standard fix? I can think of one involving some strong rope and a tree, but don't want to damage it any more. The valance isn't too distorted besides sitting lower/ higher than it should, so I guess the bend is in the actual bumper bar.

Suggestions?

Check first! Are the mounting points sitting level to the ground ??

if not, adjust with a precision lump hammer :P (then be prepared to re-weld and/or tack the front in position to make good if need be
