Ok, lm puzzled...lve had the car into a family mechanic's twice due to a couple of AA emergency breakdown recoveries!!! Points have been adjusted and sorted out, timing belt tightened and a real good all over check up of the car. Alrhough despite rhis we broke down again last week the same as the last two times...the car slowly runs to a hault. It's a "now and again" thing but lm now wondering is it and earth problem on the wire running to the starter area??? Any help gratefully appriciated. Joyce[frame][/frame]

When I first go my Morris it stopped a couple of times due to the petrol pump stopping. You could get out and give the pump a bash and then it would start again. After stopping for third time on the road from Largs to Seamill I decided to buy a new petrol pump. Since then I have had no repeating problems.
