compression test figures

what compression test figures should i get on a 1098 engine ,many thanks dale .

150psi when warm is a good ballpark. Not sure what the 'book' figure is though. So long as they're all pretty similar you shouldn't have much to worry about.

160/170 for a HC engine in good condition....

Be sure to do it hot engine/all plugs out/throttle held open - brick on pedal is ideal......but remove it before you try to start the engine again.....

they were not what they should be roy engine going back ,i have a few issues with it ,good job its guarenteed .

You won't get the best figures from a newly rebuilt engine, the rings need some time to bed in.
