fitting rear brake shoes

Can anybody privide me with a picture or discription of which way round the brake shoes should fit on the top

The brake linings should appear to have been dragged in the direction the wheel turns.

It's in the workshop manual. But actually, I don't think it matters too much - as long as you do both sides the SAME.

The Workshop Manual page M11 shows the long spring located in the two single holes at the cylinder end of the shoes and the short spring located at the other end of the shoes with a pair of holes in each shoe

Thanks all.

I have now downloaded a copy of the workshop manual from

http://www.morris-1000.co.uk/manual.htm.
for free and it is clear in there (this could be a link in the club's website).

The brake shoes needed a bit of rubbing down to make them fit all over. Now all I have to do is re adjust the hand brake.
