juddering clutch, road trip in holland!!!

Hey all, in a bit of a crisis here! We're on holiday in holland and we've started having clutch issues. There is a very heavy vibration when depressed. We have just replaced the clutch return spring 15 miles before this happened, have now taken this back off. Also fitted rear springs 700 miles ago and these are mow flat, resting on the bump stops!
Any checks I can do to find a solution?

Having read the thread, could the clutch release have knocked the pressure plate out of place? If so, how far am I going to get driving it as it is?
There is a slight up/down movement on the clutch release mechanism where it goes into the gear box, does this indicate release bearing wear? If so what are the repercussions of this?

No surprises on the rear springs - there are some very poor springs out there. When you get back - demand a refund !! As for the clutch...... is it recently renewed too? Can only suggest you absolutely minimise it's use to get you home.......or just use the Recovery with your insurance and get the car brought home on the back of a truck.......

As bmcecosse says, if you haven't got recovery cover, try and plan a route with minimal stops, i.e. motorway runs as once it's in 4th it should be OK for miles but maybe one off the Netherlands members knows of a Morris specialist over there or can help if you don't want to cut your trip short?
But Clutch release bearing/mechanism would be by guess if it only happens on gear change. The only way to be sure though is to drop the gearbox and take a look.
Part of the joys of running a classic car though but jut think of the articles you can write and publish on your return
