Traveller Rear Springs Removal---Help

I am trying to remove the rear springs and I am having trouble with the front shackle. I can't get the pin out. Does the triangular plate hold the pin in and therefore have to be removed first, (I have undone the little nuts and bolts but it is solid) or does the pin just push out from the nut side. I can see two, holes in the end of the pin, that look like they are there for a special tool? In any case mine is solid, is it just rust or is there a trick to it or a tool for it?
Any help or advice from you guys in the know would be appreciated.
Thanks

False alarm. It was just stuck. I've got it off now. Thanks for looking.

You do need a special tool to hold the pin via the two holes. Or weld a nut on....

The pin is an interfecence fit in the plate with the two nuts and bolts. They often rust together, although you can remove plate complete with pin after undoing to two little nuts and bolts that hold the plate to the spring hanger, then put the nut back on the other end lush with the end of the thread and tap it with a soft faced hammer.
