Hi guys,

I don't own a morris but I have acquired a front axle which I am trying to identify and it has been suggested that is may be from a morris, I would be grateful if someone could confirm if this is the case and if so is it any use to anyone before I turn it into a garden ornament!

It's a front axle, brakes and speedo connect to front wheels, 3 studs steel wheel, dunlop tyres 29x5 kingpin is in place but arm removed and bolted so i think it has been getting used on a trailer or something....

Looks like something from the 20s. If it has MOWOG stamped on it it is a Morris part. Try the Morris Register

3 stud wheels were fitted to 1920s Oxfords and bullnose tourers.
This design of wheel was quite common on both models also.

Thanks for the input guys, I've tried joining the Morris register, just waiting for approval now......I think it may be a Morris Cowley judging by the pictures I can find on the net..
