fuel pump recall "DONT PANIC JONESY"!

Took my faulty brand spanking S.U. fuel pump back to Tom Roy and was informed that a recall is taking place,to such an extent that deliveries are not being made until the issue is sorted.
I mention this only so that anyone that may have a new one in the boot as a breakdown spare should check it works and if its in the 12 mth warranty you can get it exchanged, eventually.
Symptoms are not immediately apparent, chugging to a halt after a few (in my case 9) miles, the unit cools and starts again then dies after just a few miles.
Model affected is the AU66.
