Driving mirrors

Hi
Can anyone give me some advise as to which mirror to fit to my Morris? I have looked at various Morris Minors and all seem to have different mirrors - some even have four mirrors. Two on the front doors and two on the front fenders.

I guess from the terminology that you are not in this country which may limit your choice.
Wing (fender) or door mirrors are very much a personal decision but I would recommend convex mirrors with long arms to fit the front wings where they are also useful for judging the position of the wings and avoiding any dents

I thought that a fender was a bumper? Anyway, I agree that convex wing mirrors are good - mount on the top of the cure, and about 7 inches back from the front edge. Caveat: Whatever works best for you is the right p[lace :)

The clip-on door/window mirrors are a waste of time. Good 'wing' mirrors are ideal..... mine even fold back nicely at speed to reduce drag!

Believe it or not the Morris dealer would decide which mirrors were in his opinion best suited, hence the vast difference in the types supplied and their locations, they were not necessarily factory fitted.
There was no original standard.
Anyone would think I knew what I was talking about :D
