I think this has been covered before but I can't find the thread. The head gasket has a metal and on the other side a material face with the metal edge turned up around the material holes, as I'm sure you all know.

Which way up should it go please?

Metal face to head - but I don't like these gaskets at all.......Copper face on both sides is better...
