hi i like to know if registration number gfo212 is still going, as i used to own it, i am also intresting in selling its oringal number plate that use to be on the car, hhc 780.that i took off car before selling it

Your question isn't very clear, but the black 1960 Minor with that registration hasn't been licensed or SORNed since 2000, so it's not looking hopeful for it.
When you talk about selling its original number, do you mean the physical plate, or have you kept the number "alive" on a retention certificate for all these years? It's not an obviously desirable number, so if a registration dealer tells you it is valuable, ask him to put his chequebook where his mouth is.

Assuming it's been on retention since at least 2000 that's already cost you £300 in retention fees.... How much do you think it's worth?

Surely £60 at least - Happy Harry Chumley born in July 1980 will surely pay that amount for such a rare plate......
