Bought a set of fibreglass arches for my car with the intent of adding some more "arch extension" to accomodate for wider wheels, i was wondering does anyone recommend a certain arch and how would i go about "blending" the two arches together?

Ask jlh which arch extensions he uses? And if he sells them? (he in on the other forum if you want to be more informal)

You want JDM arch extensions. They come in varying widths and you can either bolt or rivet them on the just blend them with some filler. Plenty of companys that sell them and there is a guy on the retro Rides forum who makes/sells them under the name 'Ranger Bob' and are pretty good quality. I am already doing the same thing as my rear wheels are 9" wide and stick out around 2".

What is normal? And it depends on the look this guy is going for I guess.

Well I've been working with fiberglass for a few years so is a fairly simple job. Best way to do it is to rivet the arch in place then just blend in the gap with the filler using as little as you can get away with. You don't want to end up with a mass of filler to sand back.[frame][/frame]
You can see the rear arch is just riveted in place while the front one has been seamlesly blended to almost look like a factory fit.
