seized joints

I would like to thank you all for the advice/threads regarding the fitment of rear seat belts.
Yesterday I duly climbed in the car, removed the rear seat back and found 2 beautifully positioned spots for the belts.
Removal of the seat base and wielding the pre-requisite drill, I drilled 2 more in the wings and a further 2 in the prop shaft tunnel.
All this while doubled up like a well compressed harmonium.
Then stretching one arm outside under the wing with the other holding a bolt head inside the car like elastic man, I connected the wing mountings both sides.(socket and extension required)
Then I crawled underneath the car (suitably jacked and propped on axle stands), trying to run nuts on wobbly loose bolts in the prop shaft tunnel, so secured the spanner inside the cab with anything heavy enough to jam it, (in this case a large heavy paint tin)
Crawled back under the car again and hey presto.
Then crawl inside the boot and repeat.
Double up again to re-fit the seat back and base, sit and adjust said belts to fit.
But you didnt tell me about the seized joints.
I couldnt move a muscle this morning. :-?

Tell me about it.....  Try a day shovelling coal on a steam engine - and swinging couplings about, and then at the end - just for fun - 2 tons of coal to be shovelled on to make it ready for the next crew........

Plus gas is always good for seized joints or WD40 if that's all you have to hand !!
Oh.....it's not the car that is a problem, it's you
In that case a good soak in a hot bath, a meal and some suitable liquid refreshment ( well deserved/ earnt ).
Well done.

I must say it sounds a lot more appealing than Roys shoveling coal suggestion :D

I hope the bolts that you put through the prop shaft tunnel are not too long. If they are and the car is heavily loaded or you hit a large bump you risk the chance of the bolts hitting the prop shaft, etc, etc.
Found that out when I was younger and stupider.

Surely, Roy, you should have ended with "then get your head down on a still-warm-from-the-last-occupant bed in the enginemens' hostel, waiting for the knocker-up to call "2 o'clock for the 3.15 Fish".

No, I did read that on a previous thread and took that on board.
The bolts were supplied at just the right length, perhaps 2 threads potruding through the nuts.
Although I had to order separately some special 2" square plates with nuts welded on them in the centre over a clearance hole, to fit the wing fasteners.
Plain nuts would have done but they are a good job when on.
Bull motif supplied the kit.
:D
