I've managed to find a full set of seats from a Saab 9000, the front set will be going in my Traveller when my Birthday Present arrives (hopefully my Mrs has been looking at tasty Saab sub frames) has anyone butchered a set to fit in the rear of a Moggie? Even better if its a Traveller

!!

Saab 9000 is a four door so I don't think the front seats will tilt forward to allow access for rear passengers to your Traveller. Don't want to be the bringer of bad news but better to check now before you do lots of work

The Saab 9000 front seats will tilt forward by winding the backrest forward.
Not ideal but quite usable,a good upgrade.

I have the same issue with my alfa seats. I personally never have a problem with it.. However you need to mount the seat as far forward as you can really, or else its a bit if a squeeze to get into the back... She also complains about having to wind the seat when we give someone else a lift.

Weeel, I have got very short legs, and like to be close to the wheel anyway,so mounting the Drivers seat closer to the Wheel is something I had planned on doing anyway. The Traveller already has seats fitted from an RS2000 ( 80's Ford) and I'm going to put those in our 2 Door Saloon as my boys are learning to drive in that and they must take their test in a car fitted with headrests.
So at the minute there is already quite a lot of scrambling to get in the back of the Traveller as all my boys are quite large teenagers,my eldest can't fit in the back behind the seats we have now!!
