Hi can someone please advise the overall diameter of a Minor steering wheel and wether it would fit a Marina? Many thanks Chris...Lympstone Devon

You would probably run foul of some regulation on collapsibility of steering wheels

I know someone who used to use aminor steering wheel on his Montego Estate. It made the steering lighter and he prefered the thinner rim to hold. Looked mighty odd though, but he always changed it back when he changed cars...
If I Minor wheel fits a Montego, I guess there's a good chance it would fit a Marina too.
Not sure how any regulations would be enforced. Is this something an MOT tester is supposed to know about? Also not sure that a Marina wheel is any more collapsable than a Minor one.

No less collapsible than on of those Motolita type alloy wheels that we all fitted in the seventies shouldnt fall foul of any regs I know of I have an early spoked wheel on my 72 van to give it a retro feel in the cab.

the three spoked wheels are definately collapsable as ifound out from personal experience...

i believe a standard minor steering wheel is 16.5 inches in diameter. no idea about whether it'd fit a marina though!

A Minor wheel would look so wrong on a Marina... keep it standard. The cars are from completely different eras and differently styled. The Marina wheel is good enough.
