Morris Minor Owners Club

Hi all,

I'm finally here to spread the news about the newest member of the MMOC.

We've now found our feet and member numbers are really starting to take off - But, as they say 'the more the merrier'

So, if you are a lover (owner or not) of the Morris Minor and live in the Leeds area then please do come along. We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Gaping Goose Inn, Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS25 1LR from 8pm.

The Leeds Branch is a young, family friendly club who meet to discuss and enjoy this lovable little British classic.

Well, we have been going for over 12 months now and how the time has flown by. Member numbers have grown steadily over the year and we are buliding a great and supportive following. Other local branches have also been amazingly supportive and helpful and we can see the roots of good friendships building.

Despite the weather trying to dampen spirts we have attended quite a few rallies and managed some drives out. Fund raising is going well and with a few up and coming events (our Grand de parp drive out and annual rally, both in August. Please see http://www.leedsmmoc.co.uk for further info) we are hoping to keep the figure continuously increasing.

Many of you that now have facebook will have also seen us pop up on loads of facbook pages. Our friends page member count is continuously rising. Please search for us "leeds morris minor" and make a friend request. We are always glad to see a new face and expand our Morris community.
