the gap between bonnet and rad panel seems to big!!! how can this be ajusted and by how much ??? thanks

There is an adjusting nut above the locating pin in the front of the bonnet. Remove the Morris Minor motif to gain access to the screw driver slot on top of the pin

Slacken the locknut and adjust from below.......no need to disturb any 'motif'......
