I was pleased to get my car passed at the weekend, I want to thank David and Stevey for their help on Monday last , preparing the car, cheers boys ! :D

Yea it went through no problem, about an hour before the test I thought I would retest the electrics , and the horn didnt work , I hoaked at it to no avail and just took it and my tools to the mot station , and explained to the guy . He let me off, I will probably get a new one . The car has had several short runs, will collect becca from school tomorrow, the rear axle didnt need that much oil but the gearbox took a full litre

Did you have a look at the starter pulley just in case?

Will do today David , if it is loose do I just put her in gear before tightening ?

I had the car out today,did 57 trouble free miles , she ran great , a bit of noise but not excessive, I did not check the flywheel nut as i hadnt a spanner to fit .

Good job kenny, roll on easter monday. Just fitted a new exhaust to the dove grey tonight, it's due mot in 3 weeks. :-?

It will be good to get the cars out again Andrew, they were built to drive not sit in garages ,see you at Dobbies.
