new wheels
just fitted some alloys from bull motiff, look fantastic ,but the tyres are very close to the trunions .i orderes some spacers 2 weeks ago but have not arrived,so i got some 9 mm ones from halfords which seem to fit,i have tightened them to 55lbs /ft is that enough .i am going to phone bull motiff and find out where the correct spacers are as i am not too happy with the ones i got from halfords, only got back from malta today ,hence not phoning .

Re: new wheels
Define "very close" , if they don't touch there shouldn't be a problem.

Re: new wheels
2mm = 80 thou! Plenty of clearance ! Well done with the new wheels - and errr 55 ft lbf is way too high for 3/8" UNF threaded wheel studs...... 40 will be fine.
