Ive had the same problem....ive found that if you sand down the back edge of the sunvisor it becomes a better fit around the screen and the brackets should just about clamp onto the gutters with a slight bend to the fibre glass but dont tighten the bolts too much as you can crack the fibre glass and drive the bolt into the paintwork as i found when test fitting mine
Engineers have 3 special tools that can fix anything - WD40, Big hammer and ductape ;)

Thanks for that tip , im amazed at its such a poor fit , question to anyone that knows , is the fit diffrent on a metal spoiler or is it just as bad ?...
I will sand the rear of it and have a go at it , try to get a better fit , as for the brackets i still feel they are a tad ott and damage the gutter , so prob be best to make another home made bracket ....
Lets hope it fits better ....

You said it was a 'spoiler' - no mention of a sunshade...... Certainly sounds like it has 'spoiled' your car - and will knock a few off your mpg too.

Hopefully....if you have been struggling to fit the silly thing under the front bumper - which is where 'spoilers' go........
