Hi folks,
Just getting round to fitting new kingpins/swivel pins before they part company on the old van.
I havnt had original van ones fitted for a long time, which doesnt seem to make any difference (not carried a lot of weight) Does anyone know if the steering arms fit from saloon to van? Im thinking of getting saloon kingpins for both sides can anyone recomend where to buy online?
Cheers
Allie

Re: minor van kingpins
Hi Surfer Girl
The only difference between van and saloon kingpins is that the optional 8cwt kingpins (usually fitted together with the wider 4 1/2 inch wheels) have a bigger hole to accept the thicker 8cwt steering arm.
As I understand it, the much more common 1/4 ton and 6cwt vans had the same kingpins and steering arms as the saloons.
So, to answer your question, saloon steering arms will fit a van (except where 8cwt kingpins are fitted).

As above -I think the Kpins all come from the same source - so just check who has best offer/free postage. Bull Motif get a good reputation, but do check others.
