Cylinder Liners and Piston Markings

On removing the head of my engine I see that the piston bores appear to have thin liners. Is this typical of a gold seal rebuilt engine?

The gold seal pistons are marked as follows, so they appear to be normal size:
  • B
    M2007 E16 [one is marked E17]
    61
My spare (which I think is a silver seal) engine does not have liners and the pistons, which also do not appear to be oversize, are marked as follows:
  • A
    M2008 H9
    XXXKKF
Can anyone help on the piston numbering please?

Liners quite common if the bores were porous. They are much harder wearing than the cast bore. The pistons are standard unless they are clearly marked otherwise. Do they have same depth of dish?

Thanks.

Both sets of pistons appear to have the same dish, though I haven't measured them...yet.

The bores of all cylinders on both engines look clean and are free from any noticeable scoring, so that's encouraging.
