Morris series Z 5cwt van?
Out of interest, what's the chassis/body number?
I'll dig out my "Z" records!

Even projects go for over a grand, but it's only worth what someone's prepared to pay and you'll never recoup the cost of restoration if you restore then sell it.

There is a lot more than 7 registered ! there is 2 on e/bay at the moment that is a good indication of price but most important is the condition and they are priced accordingly.

It's very difficult to value as there are so few Austin Eight panel vans about and you haven't provided too much information about it's condition. If it's complete, solid, roadworthy and only needs painting & trimming I'd say upwards of £3,000 but that's really just a rough 'guesstimate'. One that needs a lot of restoration will obviously be less, and parts aren't too easy to come by - a lot of the panels would probably have to be fabricated as you're unlikely to be able to find too many good second hand parts. My Dad has got a 1946 Austin Eight saloon so I'm basing the guess around the price of a saloon in a similar condition plus adding more for the rarity value of a van. How much does the seller want for it as that's really going to determine how much you pay!
(ps: I've edited the thread title to make it clear that it's an Austin, not Morris, van)

My dads got one.
I seem to recall about 6-7 left in the country of which three are roadworthy.
As for price..very tough. I can remember one with an mot selling in llanberis in the mid 90s for about 7k, but certainly only average condition. 3-4k??
They are rare, but also expensive to put right.
