Is it OK to leave my shell rolled over (using a grumpy's rig) on it's side overnight?

It's not in any danger of rolling back, I'm just concerned about stressing the shell.

Yes no problem to leave it, I had one on its side on one of these for about 4 months!

If it's just the shell, then no problems.
Do take care if/when the shell has some structure removed / missing!

If you're rolling a completely built car, you should drain the engine oil, and make sure the brake m/c is full and the bleed hole in the cap blocked (prevent fluid leaking out of reservoir and/or air getting in to the cylinder).
The rear axle should also be drained to reduce risk of getting oil into your brakes. If the seal is poor, you tend not to get such a big leak during driving, but when it's on one side you have the chance to drain all the axle oil into the brakes!

Thanks, yeah it's just a shell and I've been fairly careful to rebuild the rotten sections before flipping it up on it's side ... although as I strip off each layer I keep finding new holes ... thankfully they are getting smaller and smaller each time - the latest ones are pinholes in the passenger floor.

In all honesty it looks like it's been sat with water in the footwells, so eventually the whole floor really needs to be replaced, however for now I just want to stabilise the shell so I can get it sprayed & then make it water-tight before I start rebuilding the running gear & getting it read for the MOT.
