Fuel Pump clicking

Post by Moggie1 »

On a recent test drive of a Morris Traveller there was a perpetual clicking noise from the fuel pump, ( louder and more evident when under acceleration). The seller said this was normal for Morris 1000s. I am dubious about this statement; is it true? ..if not what can anyone advise as to the problem and solution.

Many thanks

Be concerned when there is no ticking - pump faulty, or rapid ticking - run out of petrol
