Help Please - Removing Speedo

Post by DavidJay »

Hopefully a quick question. How easy is it to remove the speedo. I know there are the holes in the glove boxes to get a screw driver through and slacken off the retaining screws.I assume that these are Phillips? Presumably though you have to get your hand up the back somehow to unscrew the speedo cable or will there be enough give in there?
I guess that I can do it just by trying but I would rather get some advice from you guys, first.
Thanks

Hi David. yep very easy to do just undo the screws 3 turns only. Don't want to lose them. then just wiggle the speedo from the front with th chrome ring the body colour ring will come with it. There's plenty of slack to undo the cable once the speedo is out.

Hope this helps
