Here in West Sussex in a light industrial complex near Littlehampton Train Station, a blue two door Saloon sits waiting patiently to be saved.[frame]Image[/frame]

She looks part way there, with recent sill repairs oversprayed in red primer. Having had a conversation with a friend of the owner, it sounds like he intended a complete restoration, but has run out of steam....[frame]Image[/frame]

the car is a mess inside, with boxs of bits filling the interior, but with some work completed she would make an ideal project, sounds like the owner might consider an offer, Ive got to go down to the garage below to speak to the owner in person during the weekto find out if he's serious about selling and what he'd take for it. But I'm of half a mind at the moment, I can't commit to a new project just now. I don't know if there's an engine, if its a 1098cc or a 1275 maybe.

As you can see from the cars in the background, and the wreck is a stock car racer jag with a rather bent tail end, the guys around here are into Track cars, But I suspect with the care thats been taken on the sill repair of the Morris Saloon, the owner wanted it for the street, rather than the west sussex Demolition Derby.[frame]Image[/frame]

Ive thought about it Fin, but this year is not good for spare time, (House stuff) you have to have everything settled before starting a project of this scale, she would need a complete disassembly to get her bodywork to look right, the rear wing on the side you can't see has small rust holes in the rear lower edge. But her sills look healthy. Next year I might start looking for one, then I can take my time finishing Alice and looking for a new project, probably a Tourer.
