Alternator

Post by Bulldog »

Hello I have fitted the alternator and it is now - earth and done the dynamo Control box I must admit there is a bit of guesting there but from what I worked out I put the small wire from D and joined it to f and the earth to the body and the rest looks like they just joined together? Do that sound right? I am using all the old wiring it looked like it had big enough wires to do the job and it is Pull to start not keys as all the wiring I have seen seems to before key start thanks

See the sticky at the head of this section - but yes that sound about right. The thick wire that was connected to the large dynamo terminal now goes to the battery connection on the 'pull start' switch.

Why on earth did you cut the tracks out ? No need to do anything like that!!!! Where did you get that advice? Main thing is - is the alternator charging the battery?
