I Have spent the last few months speaking to numerous parts suppliers trying to find out how i can fit wire wheels to my minor. I have been told it can be done and I have one person trying to source me a kit for a late midget (which apparantly should fit) but I have just seen on ebay 5 Wire Wheels StubAxles & HalfShafts off 1965 Midget. I was wondering if anybody knew if the halfshafts would fit into my mog.?

Would i be right in assuming thses have the wrong stud pattern

Please note, these adapters came from a Mark 2 Midget and have 3 1/2 inch set distance between studs. please check your hubs, before bidding to ensure you do not have the later hubs which are 4".
Correct. The Minor has a 4" PCD so these won't fit.

Wire... hmmm not sure about that, personally I wouldn't have thought they'd suit the car & think mini-lites or other wheel I have seen fitted (S richards for instance) would look better...
BUT... each to their own right, that's what makes the world interesting

Try giving a email to Randolph over the pond as I am sure he has done this conversion before and should be able to let you know what bits are required.

Wire wheels, oh deffinately yes

go for the chrome not just silver. I agree not every moggie will look right with wires but the nicely restored one with shiney paint and chrome to go with them should look right. I would fit them to my traveller but can't afford to, they are not cheap for good ones.
Give these people a go:

I asked them a while ago about fitting to moggies and they said not a problem, need a set of bolt on adapters for a midget and your done. This was a few years ago but they quoted around £1400 all in everything included, tyres fitted and balanced, spinners, wheels (set of 5) cleaning brush, copper & hide, express delivery the lot.
Failing that try 'Moss' the MG, Triumph, Mini people as they also do a conversion probably cheaper.
