wiper rack removal

having a problem removing the wiper rack. does the casing slide off? what am i missing. can't seem to fish it about to pull out thru engine bay.
If it isn't broken, don't fix it

have you slide the actual rack (the wire) out of the casing?

with the wiper arms off, and the nuts and bezels removed, you can split the wheel boxes which free the separate sections of the outer casing. you can then remove the different pieces.

no, wasn't sure if there wee some sort of locks. didn't want to break another part.

nope, the only thing that gets in your way is removing the inner rack with the wiper arms attached, as the spindles need to spin around lots as the inner is pulled through.
