Rear spring front locating pins

Having bought new pins, they seem too tight to fit "home" within the new plates on the new rear chassis rails. have others found this? How tight/loose should they be? Should I just polish them up until they also home easily? also is there a special tool to fit in the two small holes on the face of these pins - something like an angle grinder spanner perhaps?
Thanks

It is an interference fit so as you do up the nut on the other end it will pull the pin in gradually. Don't forget the two little 7/16 nuts and bolts that hold the plate to the hanger!
If the pin is not tight in the plate then it may very well spin. I think some grinder keys fit these holes. If not perhaps, a pair of 90 degree circlip pliers will hold the pin until it starts to grip the plate.
