1. Position flat end of wheel brace under lip of hubcap.
2. Twist lightly sideways, not radially.
3. Book appointment at dentist to repair front teeth broken by ballistic hubcap.
4. Kneel to side of wheel number two and repeat steps 1 and 2.
5. Watch in dismay as second hubcap launches over house roof and vanishes.
6. Retrieve hubcap from field 500 yards behind house.
7. Send photo of flying hubcap that wife snapped as it went over to UFO magazine.
8. Kneel beside wheel number three and repeat steps 1 and 2.
9. Laugh hysterically as neighbour's dog catches flying hubcap in mid air thinking it's a frisbee and legs it.
10. Catch dog and hubcap 2 miles away and return to car.
11. Position large pillow in front of fourth wheel and repeat steps 1 and 2.
12. Got the B@$t#rd!!!!!
13. Retire for tea and cake, another triumph!

Nice one! Brings back happy memories, I think my favourite was stood over a friend tightening up the wheel nuts, brace slipped off nut, brace hit me straight in the mouth. Chipped front tooth and three stiches in my top lip, how we laughed (well he did). The other eventful story was not having a trolly jack to lower gearbox so as a young chap I thought I would lower it onto myself then shuffle out from under the car on my back. Had a very interesting 20 minutes figuring out how I would un-trap myself from the the car underside and the concrete below me. HAPPY DAYS.
